BIO
Hobbs Sisters, twins Hannah and Lauren Hobbs, have earned the reputation of a country act on the rise. Dubbed a "fiery duo with soaring harmonies that most can only hope for," (American Songwriter), the Pittsburgh, PA natives began singing in church from a young age, crediting their grandfather for introducing them to country music and guitar. The sisters later cut their teeth as artists while enrolled as students at Wake Forest University, leading to performances such as opening for Brett Eldredge and aggressively self-booking for the summer season with shows at fairs, festivals, and venues in Pennsylvania, West Virginia, Ohio, and more. That same drive led the Hobbs Sisters to make the move to Nashville, where they further honed their skills as artists and songwriters. The duo has performed on coveted stages in Nashville including The Bluebird Cafe, Whiskey Jam, Song Suffragettes, and more while continuing to tour outside of Music City. Hobbs Sisters have opened for artists including Lady A, Russell Dickerson, Brett Eldrege, Charlie Daniels, Jo Dee Messina, Aaron Tippin, Chris Cagle, and Diamond Rio, and have shared the stage with artists including Jelly Roll, Danielle Bradbury, Tenille Arts, Brett Young, Dustin Lynch, Jana Kramer, Maddie and Tae, Cassadee Pope, and Rae Lynn. Recognized for their "ultra close-knit harmonies," (Music Row), Hobbs Sisters also released their debut album, Turn It Up, leading to coverage of the duo from The New York Times, American Songwriter, People, Music Row, The Boot, and more. In the fall of 2025, Hobbs Sisters released their second full length album, Simple Good Life, produced by GRAMMY-nominated producer Forest Whitehead.
