BIO
Rising country artists, Hobbs Sisters, are a twin sister duo known for their powerful harmonies, described by American Songwriter as “so strong it can blow your hair back, yet, so precise that the voices still sound like one.” This distinct sound can be heard throughout their music, which was influenced by a love of 90s country and artists such as Shania Twain and Martina McBride. Based in Nashville, they balance a full touring schedule that includes opening for artists such as Lady A and Russell Dickerson while consistently writing with talented up and coming songwriters in Nashville to develop their 90's country meets modern country style. This unique sound is seen on their debut full length album, Turn It Up, that was released in 2021. Premiered in American Songwriter, the album consists of 10 new songs, all co-written by Hannah and Lauren, with singles featured in Sounds Like Nashville and The Boot. The title track, Turn It Up, was described by MusicRow as a “fizzy, frothy ditty that sounds exactly like a summertime party” and is a perfect example of the energetic, harmony filled performance that the Hobbs Sisters bring to the stage.
